#she just fundamentally does not understand the look on bonnie’s face #the reaction bonnie is having #why bonnie is turning away from her #on top of EVERYTHING ELSE her rock is gone #even when she was fighting with caroline she was HERS #her best friend #bonnie is recoiling and caroline is so horrified by that so terrified by it so confused #her voice here is the perfect auditory encapsulation of someone seeing a sudden and unexpected dark hole yawning under their feet #a hole in ground she hadn’t even realized she was depending on walking on #and out of everything else #EVERYTHING ELSE #bonnie is what she talks about most while she’s panicking in the bathroom #and bonnie is just staggered by the structure of her world being ripped apart #the paramters of ‘us versus them’ that she’s had to adopt as the one real cop in this town basically #the staggeringly awful thing that’s been done to this person she loves #the pieces of THEIR world being ripped apart a second time #(third and final time comes with elena) #all her values and her solid ground #ground she built herself after the last devastation #seeking a center and a purpose #suddenly unreliable again #i hate you both #take your faces away
